The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood,
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

woke up in the morning for a run. since 2nd link is not that far away i dint have to wake up super early.. just normal schl/trng time...
lets see.. it was a good run. it didn't feel as long as real run.. maybe cause real run had the imba sand which was such a killer... but it was a hard run... haven been running long n this' prob my first run thats more then 40 mins since real run...
first part i thought i wasn't gonna make it cause it was barely 15 min into the run and i was thinking wth... when is this gonna end... but then at abt 20plus mins.. near halfway through i saw a wonderful sight...
one line of runners in front of me. they prob dint know each other at all n just happened to b running in front of me at tt time... and they were running in harmony.. like synchronized. and almost in one line. and that comforting rthymic thud thud thud of each step just soothed me and motivated me...
so was seeing all the runners return from the half-way mark.
think i completed half of it before 30mins...
but the road back was challenging. it was that slope. that slope that looked so daunting... i thought it would never end.. it just kept going on and on.. and i resorted to counting my breaths. and it was around this time that i realized i was running with another person... just suddenly, unconsciously we began running together.
all the way from the slope. almost 1/3 of the way.
and i really wanna thank that guy cause it was so encouraging to have someone running beside you all the way. it just so happened our pace was abt the same... so we just kept pace with each other... all the way. w/o saying a word.. a consensus...
and that's how i completed the run. (:
the winners were super cool. 31 mins plus... thats like some super imba timing.. omg.. haha. n the champion of the women's open is super cool! besides clocking such a good timing.. she's super chio too! n she still looks real good after the run.
and im happy cause running releases endorphins! and also because i did meet my target in the end. i said the next time i run 10km ill do it within an hour.. and i achieved that (: yup.. slowly cut by 5 mins everytime (:
yay. got new target to reach!
